How much we spend on him? we swapped Josh McQuoid with Bournemouth for Scott Malone. I think it was straight swap, but i could be wrong The Oinker is right and I think we had to pay some dosh as well... we wuz robbed

Not too fussed he is going but can't understand why the club hadn't offered him a new contract in the summer.
He played well last season, the club knew his contract was going to run out at the end of this season.
Had we renewed his contract then (a) he might have put a bit more effort in this season knowing he was wanted and/or (b) Cardiff would have had to pay more money for him.
Either way, I can't see how we would have lost out by offering him a new contract.

We never get any money from anyone. Leeds just have money thrown at them we are always getting peanuts for players they would get 10 times more for.

Never understood the love-in with Malone. Missed his purple patch as I was overseas at the time so when I first saw him it was a case of "is that it?"
