I'm not sure I can bring myself to read the aftermath of the Bradford debacle....
I'll come back when I'm a tad bit less pissed off

Cummings was a possible last year. This brings up the question I asked before. Who is making these signings the manager or the board?
All the right backs in the league why have two managers from the same team targeted him.

All the right backs in the league why have two managers from the same team targeted him. It's something that seems to have happened a lot with us, like you say, we get linked with the same players and eventually sign them. In theory that is what should happen. The route most clubs take now is that a separate person is in control of the scouting and recruitment of players. That way, the club can go through managers like there is no tomorrow, but someone at the club will already have identified what is needed and where to find them when the new man comes in. This seems to go hand in hand with the current trend of "Head Coaches" being appointed at clubs an not "Managers" - Kenny Jackett at Wolves being a prime example and all changes at Watford and Leeds Its been done that way on the continent for years and is becoming more and more the norm over here. In fact, only last week Ambler was talking about us going down this route in the very near future in either the SLP or Southwark News. He's looking to appoint someone that sits in between Mick Harford and the Board.
